WeCare at Sugar Creek Care Center is actively seeking a Transportation Aide for our community in Franklin, PA! As a Transportation Aide you are entrusted with the responsibility of caring for our residents, families and co-workers.
Key Responsibilities
· Report all pertinent information concerning resident care as detected to appropriate personnel. · Drive facility provided vehicle. · Transport residents, staff and volunteers to desired destinations. · Review daily rehabilitation schedule and be available as indicated. · Provide minimal assist of residents transferring to and from wheelchairs. · Ensures a safe environment
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
· Maintain positive, professional interaction with residents and staff. · Graduate of an accredited high school or GED. · Valid, unencumbered state drivers license. · 1-2 years transportation experience preferred. · Previous long term care experience. · Must have experience transporting and transferring residents with physical impairments using facility equipment.
