Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a Dual Role Bus/Van Driver & Clinical Assistant to join our Pediatric Day Healthcare Center team. This position combines safe transportation of children and nursing staff with hands-on support to the clinical team inside the center. You will play an important role in helping create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for medically fragile children.

Schedule

Monday Friday
6:00 AM 5:30 PM

No nights
No weekends
No holidays

What You'll Do

Safely transport children (ages birth8) and nursing staff to and from the Pediatric Day Healthcare Center
Support the clinical team as a Clinical Assistant during center hours
Assist with basic patient support and center activities
Perform vehicle safety and maintenance checks
Help create a positive and safe environment for children
Work closely with nurses and staff as part of a multidisciplinary care team

Qualifications

Valid Florida Drivers License with acceptable driving record
Minimum 1 year of experience working with children required (childcare, daycare, school, pediatric, or similar setting)
Experience with transportation or delivery preferred (not required)
CPR Certification (Healthcare Provider) can be obtained during orientation
Passion for working with children
