Job Summary
The Shuttle Driver is responsible for the safe transportation of guests and employees to their destination with a high level of service. This position also includes occasional activity outside of the shuttle delivering gift amenities and assisting with guest luggage.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Transport guests and/ or employees safely to and from designated locations around the resort.
- Assist passengers when entering or exiting vehicle as necessary.
- Respond to guest calls as needed (gift baskets, supply runs, etc.).
- Perform inspections of shuttle for mechanical, safety and equipment problems daily.
- Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous manner at all times.
- Keep shuttle clean of debris and neat in appearance at all times.
- Engage with passengers and provide a fun environment during the transport.
- Other duties and special projects as assigned.

- Must display very good organization and time management skills.
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with many types of personalities.
- Must have sound judgment and discretional skills and work with little or no supervision.
- Clear and concise verbal communication skills especially when communicating via radio.
- Self-directed and able to maximize use of time, resources and technology.
- Must have or be able to obtain a State of Michigan Chauffer’s License.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical & Other Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time while working in an enclosed vehicle; talk or hear.
- The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and smell.
- The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance.
- The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and outside weather conditions.
- Evenings, weekends and holidays are a regular part of the schedule.
- Must have unrestricted and insurable Michigan driving record. Chauffeur license preferred.
- Non-smoking candidates preferred.
