Newport News, Virginia Overview Coordinates and executes all transportation needs for residents to include medical appointments, facility outings etc. Assists all departments with transportation needs of residents and/or potential prospects. Responsible for vehicle maintenance and general up keep. Responsible for helping transportation coordinator get vehicles in for maintenance and service calls. What you will do Demonstrates positive customer service behaviors consistently. Strives to meet/exceed the needs of the facility's customers/residents by demonstrating flexibility and sense of urgency to create a service excellence experience. Responsible for assuring safe practices in accordance with RHS policies and procedures. Responsible for notifying Transportation Coordinator or Director of Resident Services when required vehicle maintenance is needed. Demonstrates the ability to plan transportation routes to decrease vehicle mileage and gas consumption. Completes paper work to ensure that all records are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Responsible for maintaining transportation and maintenance logs for facility vehicles as well as logging residents participation on facility outings. Demonstrates the ability to prioritize and accomplish assignments with accuracy and timeliness (meeting work schedules, work assignments and completed by deadlines, received minimal customer complaints). Maintains positive interactions with fellow team members, residents and visitors. Assists customers with billing inquiries, questions or concerns. Provides follow up in a timely manner.
