USD 439 is looking for Substitute Bus Drivers for both Routes and Activities! This is a great opportunity if you:

Qualifications:

• Hold or be able to attain a valid CDL (Commercial Driver License) with required endorsements.
• Have and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
• Pass required DOT physical examination and pre-employment drug screening. (After an employment offer is made.)
• Pass a background check.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Ensure passenger safety.
• Follow planned route to ensure proper departure times and stops.
• Perform pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is operating properly.
• Report fuel consumption, mileage, and passenger numbers.
• Report delays, accidents, and emergencies in a timely manner.
• Assisting with the loading and unloading of the bus as needed.
• Enforce safety rules on the bus at all times.
