Warehouse Technician Supply Store Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Technician to join our team. This position offers flexible working hours, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work. This role is on a 6-7 month contract with a strong possibility of becoming permanent. Responsibilities Utilize material handling equipment for inbound and outbound shipments, including loading and unloading trucks, and moving materials within warehouse racks. Operate assigned material handling equipment safely, ensuring that all equipment is inspected and in safe operating condition. Stock and arrange products to optimize warehouse inventory turnover. Perform accurate cycle counting to determine material quantities. Receive materials into inventory and move them between designated locations, ensuring accurate entry of part numbers, quantities, and other relevant data. Locate parts ensuring stability of pallets, observing height and condition, and ensuring materials are not left in aisles. Practice safe material handling techniques at all times. Perform housekeeping duties as assigned. Essential Skills Experience in shipping and receiving processes. Proficiency in operating a forklift. Knowledge of RF scanners and FedEx operations. Material handling expertise. Ability to build pallets efficiently. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to drive a delivery truck locally as needed, no special license required. Experience with shipping and receiving. Ability to strap down items securely in a truck. Detail-oriented mindset. Why Work Here? Work Environment The role is based in a small warehouse, characterized by rows of racks filled with boxes. Steel-toed footwear is required for safety.
