We are currently expanding our team and looking for a dedicated Dump Truck Driver to help us continue our tradition of outstanding service. As a Dump Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting materials from one location to another using a dump truck. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys operating heavy equipment and working in a fast-paced environment.

Driving dump truck and transport (or willing to learn transport) within local counties (Utah, Wasatch and South Salt Lake), with a minimum of 18 months experience. The position is from Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays, 40 plus hours a week and compensation is based on experience.

CDL A or CDL B required. Manual endorsement.

Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a dump truck to transport materials such as sand, gravel, or demolition debris.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working order.
  • Coordinate with the dispatch team to pick up and deliver materials on schedule.
  • Maintain accurate logs of material transportation and vehicle maintenance.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Safely and efficiently load and unload materials.
  • Transport materials to and from job sites.
  • Follow all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management.

Qualifications

Must have a class A CDL with a clean driving record.

Able to monitor and maintain vehicle in accordance with Utah DOT compliance.

Min of 18 months experience

Able to use basic math, such as adding and subtracting two-digit numbers, dividing, and multiplying.

Highly Dependable, must show up to work on time and work consistently throughout the day, take responsibility for their own actions, work hard to reach goals, maintain work commitments.

Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations is required, as is an understanding of truck maintenance. Driver should also be able to pass road tests

Must have the ability to work well with a team by giving feedback, receiving feedback, and building positive morale with others.

Pre-employment Clearinghouse Query and drug screen required.
