Dump Team Driver
Badger Mining Corporation is looking for a dependable, safety-focused Dump Team Driver to join our Team. In this role, you will safely prepare, load, and deliver industrial sand to customer locations and transport materials to landfills in a timely and professional manner. This position plays an important part in supporting our customers, representing BMC with strong customer service, and contributing to the success of a self-directed work team.
As a Dump Team Driver, you will operate equipment in a busy production environment, including a front-end loader, while maintaining a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and quality. You will also be responsible for maintaining equipment, completing required paperwork, and keeping a safe driving record. Candidates must hold a minimum Class B CDL ; Class A CDL is preferred.
Schedule & Work Expectations
The Dump Team typically works a 5-day schedule, with occasional weekend work based on business needs. Shifts may vary and can range from 8 to 14 hours depending on workload and delivery demands. This role also requires accurate completion of DOT logs and any other required transportation or delivery documentation.
- High school diploma
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Possess a good standing Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL)
- Minimum of 2 years of over the road commercial driving experience
- Previous experience operating quad axel dump truck
- Front-end loader experience preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Basic math and reading skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to problem solve
- High level attention to detail
- Ability to drive quad axel dump truck for up to 14 hours in one shift
- Understand products transported with dump truck
- Perform operating techniques in a safe manner while in accordance with DOT requirements and state, federal, and local driving laws.
- Ability to operate front end loader in busy production setting
- Perform and complete appropriate paperwork for pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Transport product in a safe and timely manner
- Maintain and clean equipment
- Immediately report any safety concerns to BMC
- Comply with all DOT, BMC and customer regulations and policies
- Other tasks and responsibilities within the Fairwater Sand Plant as needed
