Part time pickup and delivery driver

We are expanding our pick up and delivery service and need a driver to grow with us! In this role, you will be the friendly face representing our company as you conduct pickup and drop of at various locations around Central Oregon.

Work schedule will be Tuesday and Wednesday, from 08:30- approximately 2:30 (depending on volume), and then one additional hour after 6:00 PM (time of night run can be flexible)

Responsibilities

Safely operate company vehicles
Follow printed itinerary
Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule, adhering to traffic laws and parking regulations
Provide friendly, professional conduct when interacting with customers (and potential customers) during pickups and drop-offs
Maintain proper documentation of deliveries
Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report any maintenance issues promptly, and keep the vehicle clean and organized.
Communicate effectively with team members regarding orders, issues or concerns

Requirements

Valid drivers license with a clean driving record (driving check will be conducted)
No Criminal History (pickup and delivery customers include government and legal organizations)(criminal history check will be conducted)
Be able to lift up to 30 lbs safely
Be able to lift hung clothing from above shoulder height, off racks, and hold them above ground in order to keep them from dragging
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly in person and over the phone.
Familiarity with Central Oregon is preferred, but a GPS will be provided
