In addition to our headquarters and classroom in Gardena, CA, we operate three (3) mobile training centers (semi-trucks with trailers) that allow us to bring welding classes directly to communities. Most classes are in Los Angeles County, with occasional sessions in Orange County and Sacramento. Position Overview We are seeking a Class A Commercial Truck Driver to join our team. This role goes beyond drivingit's an opportunity to invest in lives and be part of something deeply meaningful. You'll ensure the safe and professional transport of our mobile training centers, and also play a role in coaching and mentoring students in welding once we have trained you and you have earned your American Welding Society certificate. Key Responsibilities - Driving and equipment care. - Maintain the trailer classrooms, ensure they are supplied. - Safely transport mobile training centers to and from class locations. - Perform required pre-trip inspections, follow all traffic laws, and secure cargo. - Keep trucks and trailers clean and presentable inside and out. - Schedule and perform routine maintenance; communicate equipment needs to supervisor. - Maintain a clean driving record. Training & Mentorship - Receive training to become a welding coach and earn at least one welding certification. - Assist with classroom and trailer welding coaching when not driving. - Mentor and encourage students, celebrating their progress to help build confidence and hope. Qualifications - Valid California Class A CDL with a clean driving record. - Minimum 3 years' experience driving semi-tractor trailers. - No DUI/DWI convictions in the last 7 years. - Certificate from an accredited CDL school. - Commitment to maintaining safety and professionalism at all times. - Commitment to upholding the Christian ethics of the ReIGNITE Hope mission.
