Non-CDL Driver/Warehouse Associate

We are seeking a Non-CDL Driver and Warehouse Associate for a permanent position starting this June. This role requires working with construction materials using a Sit-down forklift operating a 20ft flatbed truck for local runs (ranging from 2 to 12 deliveries daily), and utilizing a handheld device to secure proof of delivery. The position offers $21 to $24 per hour dependent on expirience with a standard shift of 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, though candidates must maintain open availability for occasional early starts or late returns.

Qualifications include prior a clean driving record and a valid DOT medical card. A current forklift certification is preferred, though the company will train candidates who possess the right aptitude. Applicants must be dependable, adaptive to a fast-paced environment, and able to pass a background check along with a 10-panel drug screen.

Responsibilities

Driving & Delivery Duties:

• Safe Transportation: Safely operate a 20ft flatbed truck to deliver materials to various job sites and locations.
  
  
• Delivery Load Management: Handle a variable daily delivery volume, ranging anywhere from 2 to 12 deliveries per day depending on demand.
  
  
• Digital Tracking: Utilize handheld devices to log deliveries, scan inventory, and capture digital proof of delivery (POD).
  
  
• Customer Service: Act as a professional representative of the company on-site, ensuring accurate and timely handoffs.
  
  

Warehouse & Loading Duties:

• Order Loading: Actively participate in warehouse duties by pulling orders and loading your own trucks prior to departure.
  
  
• Forklift Operation: Safely operate a sit-down forklift to move, stack, and load heavy materials.
  
  

The essential functions of this role include:

wearing steel toe shoes

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

manual lifting up to 50lbs
