Harcros Chemicals is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Truck Driver to support local delivery operations and customer service activities. This position offers local routes with drivers home on weekends, hourly pay instead of mileage pay, and industry competitive benefits.

Drivers are responsible for safely transporting chemical products, completing delivery documentation, supporting warehouse activities as needed, and ensuring compliance with DOT and company safety standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Safely transport chemical products to customer and branch locations.

  • Inspect trucks and equipment before and after trips and report maintenance concerns as needed.

  • Maintain accurate driver logs, shipping paperwork, and delivery documentation.

  • Load, unload, secure, and verify products and shipments in compliance with DOT and company standards.

  • Support warehouse operations, housekeeping, product handling, and inventory activities when not driving.

  • Operate forklifts and other equipment safely and in accordance with company procedures.

  • Ensure customer delivery requirements, labeling, and documentation are completed accurately.

  • Utilize company-provided technology and equipment in compliance with company policies and regulations.

  • Support hazardous waste handling, spill response, and related documentation activities as required.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Two or more years of related driving or transportation experience preferred.

  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

CERTIFICATIONS

  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.

  • Hazardous Materials and Tanker endorsements required

  • Forklift operation experience preferred.

  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, shipping documents, and operating procedures.

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.
