Transporter (Limited Part-Time | 16 hours per week) Schedule & Availability Must be available between 10:30 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. Every other weekend and holiday rotation required Note: Students are not being considered at this time Preferred Previous healthcare experience strongly preferred Position Summary Responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient transport of patients, equipment, and supplies throughout the hospital in accordance with established policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities Safely transport patients (and any necessary equipment) between units, treatment areas, and designated locations Deliver supplies, equipment, medications, and materials accurately and on time Ensure proper handoff of medications to nursing staff Perform routine inspection and disinfection of transport equipment Accurately document transport activities using the Transport Tracking System and/or manual logs Communicate transport status and report any delays or issues to leadership Maintain a courteous, professional demeanor when interacting with patients, visitors, and staff at all times
