Coastal Forest Products , a leading wholesale distributor of specialty building products, is currently seeking a dependable and safety-conscious, Local Delivery Driver to transport and deliver products to our customers and support our warehouse operations within our South Carolina facility.

Job Responsibilities
Deliver building materials to customers according to assigned delivery routes and schedules.
Verify delivery paperwork and confirm product accuracy at the time of delivery.
Safely operate and transport a flatbed truck equipped with a Moffett forklift.
Complete driver logs and required documentation in accordance with company policies and DOT regulations.
Perform daily vehicle inspections and help maintain a clean, safe, and organized truck.
Report maintenance concerns, equipment issues, damages, or product discrepancies promptly.
Safely operate a forklift to move, load, unload, and stage materials.
Pick, package, and prepare customer orders for delivery or pickup.
Organize and stage materials in designated warehouse areas to support efficient operations.
Process daily paperwork and communicate effectively using company-provided electronic devices.
Provide professional customer service and build positive working relationships with customers at delivery sites.
Required Qualifications
18+ years of age and legally permitted to work in the United States
Current CDL Class A with a DOT Physical card (or ability to pass a DOT Physical)
2 years of commercial driving experience with an excellent safety record.
Strong commitment to following all safety processes and protocols.
Knowledge of CSA and FMCSR rules and regulations
Acceptable driving record meeting Insurance Provider standards
Must be able to pass Pre-Employment Background and DOT Drug Test
Situational awareness and ability to use good judgement
Experience in a lumber or warehouse setting a plus
Physical Conditions
Able to lift or move objects up to 50 lbs.
Able to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, kneeling, and standing.
Able to sit for extended periods of time.
Able to reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basis.
Able to work in warehouse and outdoor environment
