This contractor will fly you out to drive OTR for 3 weeks and then fly you have home for 7-9 days. So if you don't live close by, that is okay. Let's get you started today! Duties Operate tractor-trailers with manual transmissions, ensuring safe handling and compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations Drive refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or other freight types along designated routes, maintaining punctual delivery schedules Load and unload cargo efficiently using forklift or other equipment when necessary Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and readiness before each trip Manage route driving responsibilities, including planning optimal paths for timely deliveries Load and secure freight properly to prevent damage during transit, especially when handling roll-off trucks or dump trucks Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, delays, or issues encountered on the road Shifts Teams AM Shift - Solo PM Shift - Solo Experience Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL A license and a clean driving record Hands-on experience operating manual transmission trucks in various conditions Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbed trucks, tankers, and specialized equipment such as dump trucks or roll-off trucks Delivery driver experience involving load & unload procedures and route driving Ability to handle freight securely using appropriate tools like forklifts when required Knowledge of safety protocols related to trucking operations and cargo handling Join us to drive your career forward in an energetic environment that values your expertise!
