Van Driver - McLean County Nursing Home
Starting Hourly Rate: $16.0750 - $17.6182
Position Status: Part-Time
Position Summary
Employees in this position are responsible for transporting residents to and from medical appointments to and from the hospital and for special activities. You will be on call every other weekend.
Full salary range: $16.0750 - $24.5313 per hour (upper range reflects long term career with McLean County)
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Driver's License along with proof of valid motor vehicle insurance.
Must have a clean driving record and be 23 years of age or older.
Will be required to obtain J05 license designation from the Department of Motor Vehicles prior to transporting any residents.
Must have the ability to drive a van/bus read a road map or use GPS and follow directions.
Must be able to drive for extended periods of time in all weather.
Physical Attributes and Demands
Work requires sufficient physical strength, visual acuity, and coordination to operate a motorized vehicle.
Work Environment
Work is primarily performed while driving a County vehicle in a variety of weather conditions. Work exposes the employee to: noise, weather conditions, and traffic.
