Scootaround is seeking 2 experienced and reliable Seasonal Semi Truck Drivers to help transport mobility equipment across the United States during our busy summer season. If you enjoy being on the road, working with a supportive team, and delivering essential equipment that helps people stay mobile, this role is for you.

Position Overview:

You will operate a semi-truck to deliver mobility equipment such as scooters, wheelchairs, strollers, and wagons to various destinations. The role involves both driving and hands-on customer service, with assignments typically running from May through September, depending on business demand.

Key Responsibilities:

-Load and unload equipment at pickup and delivery locations
-Coordinate with customers to confirm deliveries and pickups
-Maintain accurate, on-time delivery schedules
-Communicate regularly with dispatch for updates and routing
-Assist with additional non-driving duties as needed

Qualifications:

-Minimum 2 year of Class A CDL semi-truck driving experience
-Clean driving record (no accidents within the past 2 years)
-Valid CDL and Medical Card
-Ability to pass a background check
-Physically able to operate ramps and lift up to 50lbs
-Strong customer service skills
-Professional and neat appearance

Compensation Package:

$0.70 per mile with a guaranteed $100/day minimum
$125 loading/unloading pay per trip
$100/day for layover time
$15/hour for non-driving duties
