If youre a licensed CDL Driver (B class) looking to advance your career with a locally established company, look no further. RC HVAC & Construction provides commercial and industrial HVAC Installation and Service throughout the Denver Metro area and is in need of a professional delivery driver that will allow you to do what you love every day and still be home every night. In this role, you will ensure the safety of each delivery from the moment you load the truck at our facility until you have completed each job. You will make ground deliveries and assist with rooftop cranes sets throughout the Denver metro area. In between deliveries, you will assist the shop with basic warehouse type work and basic truck maintenance.
Located in Westminster, Colorado we are a close-knit family-owned organization, looking for the right HVAC Delivery Driver who wants to excel and be part of our WINNING team for the long term.
Specific duties may include:
Treating customers in a friendly and professional manner
Conducting a safe work zone during each job site
Adhering to assigned delivery schedule and following all job directives precisely
Providing warehouse support as needed
Completing a thorough load check on your truck before leaving the shop, ensuring that all delivery materials are firmly secured and all parts of your truck are in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
Working in cooperation with the Delivery Material Handler to determine where to set the materials and unloading them
Completing and filing all logs and required government paperwork in a precise and timely manner
Responsibilities may include warehouse work, including loading and unloading of materials on to or off of trucks or into warehouse as assigned
This position does not require over the road travel
Specific qualifications include:
Valid CDL - Class B or C WITHOUT the L restriction
Good MVR
1+ Year of commercial driving with air brakes experience
High school Diploma or equivalent
Regularly requires lifting, carrying, reaching, kneeling, pushing/pulling, bending, crouching, climbing and balancing.
Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy weighted objects including materials and equipment up to 50lbs.
* Occasionally assist with crane rigging.
Physical ability to climb permanent and temporary stairs, get delivery truck loaded and offloaded and assist with crane
sets and negotiate work areas under construction.
Must wear steel-toed boots. May work in outdoors or unconditioned sites during inclement weather.
Pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens are required
