Delivery Driver & Helper
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Delivery Driver and Helper team to assist in the safe, timely, and efficient delivery of appliances, BBQs, furniture and general freight for residential clients. The ideal candidates will work together to load, transport, and unload various types of goods, ensuring that items are delivered in excellent condition with top-tier customer service.

Driver:
Our deliveries include:
Building materials
Doors and Window
Patio furniture
Appliances with basic installation included.
We do not preform installations requiring modifications or plumbing such as propane connections, dishwashers or microwaves.
Operate company vehicles (box trucks, vans, etc.) in a safe and responsible manner.
Plan delivery routes and ensure timely deliveries.
Load and unload goods, ensuring secure placement to prevent damage in transit.
Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues.
Follow all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
Communicate with dispatchers, clients, and team members effectively.
Helper:
Assist with loading and unloading items from the delivery vehicle.
Handle items carefully to prevent damage during delivery and setup.
Aid in the assembly or placement of delivered goods such as office furniture and appliances.
Support the driver in navigating routes and ensuring safe lifting practices.
Communicate politely with customers and represent the company professionally.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Very clean background
Valid drivers license (for driver role) with a clean driving record.
Able to pass a lab screening
Prior experience in delivery or moving services preferred.
Prior experience in appliance delivery and installation.
Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 75 lbs. or more with assistance).
Good communication and customer service skills.
Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance is a plus.
Flexibility to work varying hours and occasional weekends as needed.
Reliability is a MUST
