Environmental Driver Specialist CDLA Yard

Were looking for experienced, professional CDL A drivers that will share our commitment to our people, partners and planet. Following all safety protocols, you will maneuver semi-trailers and containers around the facility to ensure there is no traffic back up in the yard. Yard Jockeys are comfortable operating switchers to dock or reposition containers and other large items and may use other warehouse equipment to help transport waste.

Starting rate $32.00 hourly

To qualify, you must have a high school diploma or GED and possess a valid Class A Commercial Drivers License. By law, you must be at least 21 years of age.

Preferred qualifications are both Hazmat and Tanker endorsements (candidates will be expected to obtain as a condition of employment after hire). Previous experience as a yard jockey or hostler and the ability to operate powered equipment, such as a forklift. As you will interact with customers and internal staff, fluency in English (verbal and written) will be important.

The successful candidate will be required to pass a DOT physical, drug test and DEA background check.
