Position Overview
This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail, safety awareness, and accountability. Drivers will work closely with their support team consisting of Fleet Manager, loading team, and office staff to ensure deliveries are completed accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
Safe Transport & Glass Handling
- Safely transport glass products to customer locations
- Properly secure and tie down glass loads prior to departure
- Handle glass with care during loading and unloading to prevent damage
- Follow all PPE requirements and safety procedures at all times
Pre-Trip, Safety & Compliance
- Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensure load securement meets safety standards before leaving the yard
- Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies (where applicable)
- Respond appropriately to accidents, incidents, or on-site issues
- Assist with safe cleanup of broken glass when required
Delivery Execution & Documentation
- Deliver glass accurately based on route and manifest
- Ensure all packing slips are signed and completed correctly
- Maintain accurate delivery records and manifest updates
- Take full accountability for product delivered (for invoicing purposes)
Communication & Coordination
- Maintain constant communication with office staff, Fleet Manager, and loading team
- Communicate delays, issues, or delivery challenges in real time
- Work with customers on-site in a professional and respectful manner
- Understand customer-specific delivery requirements and site conditions
Operational Awareness
- Follow assigned routes while adapting to real-time conditions
- Manage time effectively across multiple stops
- Represent the company professionally at all times
Fleet Overview
Drivers may operate a range of company vehicles, including Ford Transit, Mitsubishi Fuso, Chevy Trucks, International Trucks, and Freightliner Trucks.
Some positions require a CDL; others do not.
Qualifications
- Valid drivers license (CDL B required for applicable vehicles)
- Clean driving record (MVR required)
- 1 or 2 year valid medical certificate (for CDL drivers)
- Ability to lift and handle glass (up to 75 lbs)
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Strong attention to detail and accountability
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically active environment
