GBD-LLC is seeking a highly experienced, reliable, and safety-focused Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating dump trucks in construction environments and be comfortable working closely with excavation crews, contractors, and project managers. This is not a "drive-only" position. We're looking for someone to join our team and assist with site work when trucking duties are complete or when additional help is needed.
The ideal candidate is versatile, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment.
Pay & Benefits
Pay Rate: $30 - $40 per hour, based on experience.
Paid Holidays: Six paid holidays annually.
Paid Time Off (PTO): Five days of PTO awarded after one year of employment.
Health Coverage: Comprehensive medical and dental insurance with 100% of the premiums covered by the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate dump trucks to transport dirt, gravel, rock, sand, and construction materials to and from job sites.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Maintain accurate load and delivery records.
Ensure loads are properly secured and transported safely.
Assist with loading and unloading as needed.
Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and job site personnel.
Keep trucks clean and report maintenance issues promptly.
Assist excavation crews with general labor and ground work as needed.
Help with site preparation, grading, trenching support, cleanup, and other construction tasks.
Qualifications:
Valid driver's license (CDL Class A or B required).
Clean driving record.
Experience operating dump trucks or heavy machinery required.
Knowledge of excavation, grading, and dirtworks operations.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Dependable, punctual, and safety-minded.
Versatility- Demonstrate ability to perform both dump truck operations and "ground work" as needed.
Licenses & Certifications:
A valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is mandatory.
Background Check: Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check to gain access to sensitive job sites, including federal, military, and private contractor locations.
Work Ethic: A strong, consistent work ethic with a history of long-term employment. This is a stable position, and we are looking for someone who is not deterred by the seasonal nature of the Washington State construction market.
