The Driver will be responsible for a route of daily stops. The deliveries require unloading the product via hand, pallet jack, and dolly, and delivering the merchandise to the customer-designated location. The essential aspects of this position are delivering and providing exceptional customer service.

This individual will mainly be operating a 26' box truck and the route will be through the Rockford/Abbott/Northern IL area. The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday from 5:00am to 2:30pm, or until the daily route is completed.

Pay Rate: $27.28/hr-$28.28/hr

You will:

• Safely operate a 26' box truck or 53' truck
• Load and unload cargo via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gate
• Properly track and document activity log
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect the truck before and after trips
• Communicate with customers with a positive, outgoing attitude

You have:

• A valid commercial driver's license
• Must have a Hazmat endorsement or willing to obtain within 90 days
• Must be able to pass a DOT Medical Exam
• A good driving record
• 1 year of recent CDL A experience
• 1 year of route delivery experience
• 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience
• Ability to handle a physical workload (lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted)
• Lift gate experience
• Strong work ethic
