Delivery Driver

• Picking up orders from warehouses and verifying that they are in good condition and complete

• Planning optimal routes using GPS or other navigation tools

• Delivering orders to customers on assigned routes

• Maintaining an organized travel schedule and ensuring that deliveries are made on time

• Inspecting the delivery vehicle daily and reporting any malfunctions or damages. Cleaning interior and exterior of delivery van.

• Assisting with loading and unloading items from the vehicle

• Communicating with customers in a professional manner and handling complaints or concerns

• Documenting each delivery by collecting signatures or confirmations on sales orders

• Adhering to traffic laws and always practicing safe driving

• Ensuring warehouse and office are organized and clean.

Responsibilities

• Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner.

• Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete and the customer is satisfied.

• Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles.

• Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients.

• Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.

• Maintaining an organized travel schedule.

• Ensure vehicle is kept clean and regularly checked for maintenance issues.

• Observe and follow all road safety regulations.

• Update delivery records and manage paperwork related to delivery.

• Assist in any and all janitorial duties when needed to fill a temporary position.

• Dressing in a neat and professional manner, adhering to company policy
