Over-the-Road (OTR) CDL A Driver

Join our dynamic team as an Over-the-Road (OTR) CDL A Driver and experience the thrill of long-haul trucking! In this role, you will operate tractor-trailers across extensive routes, delivering freight efficiently and safely to various destinations. Your expertise in driving manual transmission trucks, handling refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, Dry -Van, and other specialized equipment will be essential to keep our logistics moving seamlessly. Duties

Safely operate Dry-Van with manual transmissions across long-distance routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment
Drive a variety of trucks including refrigerated trailers, Dry-Van and freight carriers to meet diverse delivery needs
Manage route driving efficiently by planning schedules, verifying delivery addresses, and maintaining timely deliveries
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns
Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route updates, delivery status, and any issues encountered on the road
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, cargo details, and delivery documentation in compliance with federal regulations
Skills

Proven experience in truck driving with a valid CDL A license; familiarity with manual transmissions is essential
Strong knowledge of freight handling including load & unload procedures for various cargo types
Experience operating refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and Dry-Van
Ability to drive safely over long distances while managing fatigue and adhering to safety protocols
Excellent route planning skills with a focus on efficiency and timely deliveries
Good communication skills for coordinating with dispatch teams and customers
