OTR CDL A Flatbed Truck Driver

STS Express Inc is seeking a dependable and professional OTR Flatbed Truck Driver (CDL Class A) to join our growing transportation team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with flatbed equipment, securement procedures, and safe long-haul driving. Youll be responsible for transporting freight efficiently and safely across regional and OTR routes while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and compliance.
Responsibilities:
Operate and drive flatbed tractor-trailers across designated OTR routes.
Properly secure, tarp, and inspect flatbed loads in compliance with FMCSA cargo-securement standards.
Conduct thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and regulatory compliance.
Plan and manage routes to ensure on-time, safe deliveries while complying with all DOT/HOS regulations.
Maintain accurate logs and documentation, including ELD hours, inspection reports, and delivery records.
Communicate clearly with dispatchers, customers, and other team members regarding schedules, delays, or issues on the road.
Handle all freight with care, ensuring product integrity and professional customer representation.
Qualifications:
Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
Minimum 1 year of verifiable flatbed driving experience (preferred).
Proficient in using chains, binders, straps, and tarps for securement.
Strong understanding of FMCSA safety and cargo-securement regulations.
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Commitment to safe driving practices and professional conduct at all times.
