Better Business Staffing LLC., dba BBS, is currently seeking a professional, safety-focused, and dependable Class A CDL Driver for a dedicated regional freight lane operating between Laredo, Texas and Ames, Iowa. This highly consistent 2,400-mile round-trip route offers dependable scheduling, steady weekly miles, reliable compensation, and the opportunity to operate modern, well-maintained equipment in a driver-focused environment.

Compensation & Pay Structure
Flat Daily Pay: $250.00 per day
Additional Earnings: Potential overtime and extra mileage opportunities available
Payment Schedule: Weekly direct deposit (paid one week behind)
Fuel Cards: Provided by the company

60% Live Load / Live Unload
40% Drop & Hook

Preferred Driver Home Base Locations
To support route consistency and maximize home time, preference may be given to drivers residing within or near the freight corridor, including:
Texas
Oklahoma
Kansas
Missouri
Iowa

Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Valid Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL-A)
Minimum of one (1) year verifiable CDL driving experience
Must pass a criminal background check
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) compliant with DOT regulations
Strong communication skills (English required)
Reliable attendance and schedule adherence
Ability to comply with all FMCSA and DOT safety regulations

Key Responsibilities
Safely transport dry van freight along the designated regional route
Perform detailed pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Maintain accurate ELD logs and transportation documentation
Communicate professionally with dispatches, warehouse personnel, and management
Follow all FMCSA regulations, DOT requirements, and company safety policies
Ensure timely pickup and delivery performance
