Class-A CDL Driving Position (full time, year round)

CDL Class A Driver Immediate Openings RI

Immediate openings for CDL Class A drivers with a clean driving record and a minimum of one (1) year of driving experience. Ideal candidates must have experience as a Class A CDL Driver. Livefloor or dump trailer experience is preferred but not required.

We operate a fleet of modern, well-maintained vehicles. This is non-seasonal employment, with opportunities for 60+ hours per week. Travel is within a 250-mile radius of Boston.

The pay range for this position is $26.00 to $31.00 per hour based on experience

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Cover and uncover loads, including tarping and un-tarping, which require safely climbing a ladder.
Lift, carry, and handle materials weighing up to and more than 100 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with all state and federal regulations.
Complete required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
Perform routine vehicle inspections (fluids, tire pressure, etc.) and report mechanical issues to maintenance.
Navigate routes throughout the New England area.
Exposure to outdoor and extreme New England weather in all seasons
Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and co-workers.
Maintain a professional demeanor and communicate effectively with dispatch, customers and co-workers.

Qualifications & Requirements

Valid CDL Class A license
Minimum one (1) year of CDL driving experience
Current DOT medical card
Satisfactory driving record and work history verification (within 2 weeks of applying)
Candidates selected for this position will be required to undergo and successfully complete a preemployment drug test in accordance with DOT regulations
