Job Description

Norco is currently seeking an individual to fill ourMedical Non-CDL Route Delivery Driver position.TheMedical Non-CDL Route Delivery Driveris responsible for the delivery, set-up and pick up of DME equipment, supplemental oxygen products and supplies to home care patients within a prescribed and assigned geographical area. The Warehouse person is responsible for accomplishing all shipping and receiving on a daily basis and to maintain the warehouse in a neat and orderly fashion. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Efficiently organizedelivery route on a daily basis

Deliver liquid and compressed gaseous oxygen to specified points of delivery

Deliver durable medical equipment, as well as other home care related equipment to specific points of delivery

Protect patient PHI per HIPAA regulations

Handle the retrieval of rental return items and their proper handling and placement into the designated rental return area

Provide patient/client orientation instructing on the proper use of equipment

Work with patients/clients to solve a variety of problems, thereby acting as a company field representative

Clean rental equipment that is picked up on route

Prepare all items to be shipped on a daily basis

Properly receive all items shipped to the company on a daily basis

Place all items received for stock into their appropriate locations on a daily basis

Monitor and maintain accurate and appropriate inventory levels and places orders when necessary

Coordinate cycle counts and rental inventory in branch location and stockpoints

Maintain the warehouse area in a neat and orderly fashion

On-Call Requirements

Perform other tasks as assigned or necessary

Shift: Mon-Fri, Noon-8pm

Wage $19-$21/Hr

Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent

No at fault accidents in the past 3 years

Ability to lift and/or carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs. frequently and occasionally weighing over 100 lbs

Demonstrates timeliness, courtesy, sincerity and patience when dealing with patients/clients

Good organizational and customer service skills

Good communications skills

Basic knowledge of home care medical products and supplies

Ability to accuratelyenter data into computer and acquire a working knowledge or any software applications necessaryto the position

Familiar with all FDA regulations as they pertain to oxygen

Familiar with required accreditation policies and procedures as they pertain to delivery driver related activities and customer/staff safety

Valid Driver's License
