Full Time Day Custodian / Bus Driver

Spruce Mountain High School

(8 hours per day for 260 nights per year / 5 days per week)

Description:

Full time custodial / bus driving position for days. 40 hours per week. You will be required to oversee daily functions at the high school along with painting the sports fields in the spring and fall. You will also be required to make sure the buildings and grounds are in compliance and safe for staff and students. In the event of inclement weather you are required to maintain walkways and entrances / exits. Overtime may be required to fill in areas that need coverage.

Qualifications:

• CDL B license with S endorsement - will train the right candidate, and candidate will have 6 months to obtain license if doesnt already have said license.
• Obtain a Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) through the Maine Department of Education (MDOE)
• Pre employment physical and drug test are required
• Knowledge of custodial duties and maintenance is a plus, but is not required

• Any other certifications / education obtained that may be pertinent to position
