A Helicopter Pilot in the transportation industry is primarily responsible for navigating helicopters to transport passengers, cargo, or other goods. Their duties may also include performing routine aircraft inspections, maintaining accurate flight logs, and ensuring that all operations adhere to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations. Before becoming a Helicopter Pilot, one might start out in roles such as a Flight Instructor, where they would gain valuable experience teaching others how to fly, or as an Air Traffic Controller, where they would learn crucial skills in managing aircraft during takeoff, flight, and landing.
