Who You Are:

The Ideal candide will have 2+ years over the road driving experience, a clean driving record with no license restrictions, can opere manual transmission, and is familiar with pre and post trip inspections using online log systems.

Wh You Will Be Doing:

Successful candides for the CDL A Driver role are motived and eager to provide a high level of customer service. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty sisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representive of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned):

• Performs pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Complies with all required stutory, regulory requirements, and company policy.
• Completes approprie paperwork and forms, including but not limited to manifest, shipping and receiving documents.
• Maintain all required certificions required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs.
• Loading and unloading of all finished goods and raw ingredients. Secure load during transit, including blocking and bracing.
• Driver must be able to utilize and/or learn the computerized system order to complete all transactions of shipments.

• Drives truck with capacity of more than 3 tons, transporting merials to and from specified destinions.
• Distributes receipts for loads picked up.
• Occasionally collects payment for goods delivered and for delivery charges.
• Maintains telephone and/or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions.
• Assists Customers with the offloading process.
• Positions blocks and ties rope around items to secure cargo during transit.
• Communices with customers, supervisors, and other employees effectively.
• Uses good judgment in making decisions, in emergency and routine situions.

Skills You Bring :

MINIMUM SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS include the following:

• Current/Active CDL Class A License Minimum two years of experience after CDL school
• Must pass Driver's Testing
• Must pass DOT Physical (M.E.C.) / Drug Testing (DOT)
• Must be proficient in the English language
• Basic mh to understand product weight and truck limits
• Reasoning ability; must be able to solve practical problems and follow instructions.
